Keith Estep

Keith Estep is a 23-year Army Veteran who served two tours of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Upon his retirement from the Army in 2012, Keith has volunteered for numerous non-profit organizations benefitting veterans and their families such as Reboot Combat Recovery, Save A Warrior, and Military Teen Adventure Camps, as well as Refuge for Women, and Abuse Alternatives.

In 2015, Keith applied for an opportunity to hunt with Woodford Warriors, now known as WORTH, and now serves as a volunteer with the organization as a hunting guide, roster coordinator, and assists with fundraising. While volunteering with WORTH, Keith has met many veterans, and has developed quality, lasting friendships.

Keith describes his experience with WORTH as life-saving, stating that his participation in a WORTH-sponsored hunt along with the ongoing camaraderie between the men and women while volunteering, has improved his overall quality of life, and that he no longer suffers from Post Traumatic Stress.

Keith enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, boating, and camping, as well as spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Keith and his wife, Chantel, reside in North Carolina and they enjoy traveling cross-country visiting National Parks, and attending rock concerts.

Pamela Brough

Pam is a resident of Anderson County. Married with 3 children, her middle son is currently serving in the United States Navy, Captain Bobby T. Carmickle, having completed over 24 years consisting of multiple deployments. Her greatest accomplishment in life has been raising and watching her children grow to be the men they are today.

She worked 24 years at YKK Snap Fasteners America in numerous management roles, and completed the last 12 years prior to her retirement as Executive Director for the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce.
A 25-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, having served as Department of Kentucky President in 2007. This service included local, district, department and National roles along the way. A 20-year member of the VFW and was instrumental in organizing VETS Charitable Corp to help veterans in need.

Other opportunities have been volunteering for regional United Way Board of Directors, American Cancer Society, CASA, organized and helped in the construction of the only permanent Healing Field in KY (recognizing every KY veteran that has given their life in the war on terrorism) and serving on the Worth Committee to help in the healing of our wounded veterans.

Awards & Accomplishments include governor appointed position to Regional Board of Directors for Bluegrass Community & Technical College. Honorary member of the Kentucky National Guard, Lewis Hines award for volunteering with military families from the National Child Labor Relations Committee, Hall of Fame Community Leader from the Anderson County School System, Hall of Fame for Community Volunteer from Signature Health Care, American Cancer Society Mid-South Volunteer of the year, Mayor & County Judge Executive appointment to the Regional Tourism Board, as well as an appointment to Economic Development for Anderson County.

Her passion in life has been helping those in need, especially our Veterans whom have sacrificed so much for our freedoms and our Country.

Steve Anderson

Steve is a retired Kentucky Utilities Company employee of 44 years. He is married and lives in Harrodsburg, KY, has a son and a daughter along with 5 grandchildren. His Father served in the US Army during World War II in Europe.

He has been involved with WORTH from its inception. He is a co-owner of Lemons Mill Brewery and Tap Room in Harrodsburg. He has served as Mercer County Little League Baseball President and Coach, was a Mercer County Little League Basketball Coach.
He helped start the Mercer County Youth Outdoor Program, served on the Harrodsburg YMCA board of directors, was an Anderson County Elementary School Archery Coach.

He is a Mercer County Reserve Deputy Sheriff. He loves to golf, the outdoors and is an avid hunter and fisherman.

Joe Lacefield

Founding member of Woodford Warriors, WORTH Therapeutic Recreation and Hunting Programs. Joe Lacefield co-founder of WORTH, manages property access and landowner relations, hunter orientation, Hunters for the Hungry liaison, and hunt control advisor. Regional Wildlife Biologist with Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, 35-year career.

My father Dick Lacefield was a Marine during the Korean War, grandfather Milton Lacefield was in the Navy on the USS Alaska during WWII.
