Why
Coming home from war shouldn’t be more dangerous than leaving to fight one, yet each day in America, 20 Veterans commit suicide. Since 1979, that equates to 263,000 veteran suicides. More than WWI, Korea, and Vietnam combined.
When I joined the military, I made a vow to never leave anyone behind. It’s one of the basic pillars of what the Army calls the Warrior Ethos: “I will never leave a fallen comrade.” Since leaving the military, I have continued to live by this creed. The last 15 years of my life have been devoted to development and implementation of programs that serve the needs of our active warriors, veterans, and their families.
Our programs help warriors recover from the physical/invisible wounds of war and build the family unit. We strongly believe that the 2.7 million men and women who deployed over the past 15 years will become this nation’s Next Greatest Generation as they come home and continue to serve in their communities.
On their behalf, THANK YOU!
